His research interests include GaN based microwave and power switching devices, Semiconductor devices physics modeling and characterization. He has published more than 60 SCI/EI research papers published in journals, such as IEEE Electron device letters, Applied Physics Letters, Electronics Letters, Solid-State Electronics and Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics, etc. He was awarded as First Prize for Science & Technology Development/Achievement of the Ministry of Education, First Prize for Beijing science and Technology.
